Donno what this can be called( May be my worst post)

I was about to board my flight in fifteen minutes I was excited ,this will be my first trip back to india after 4 years 6 months , Just then I thought I would give a call to my brother to check if he needs anything particular from duty free and He did say something which added an immense weight and terrible pain all along the journey of 18 hrs, "My father is living his last few moments".

As I have said in my previous post I don't want to go personal so I will be stopping the story of my misfortune here and carry on with actual topic. The reason I mentioned the particular tragedy is that I want you to be aware of circumstances and events that might have made my view point more cynical than they actually are.

If Iam in my senses I guess today is my 56thday in India ,Hyderabad to be precise and I guess I had a lenghthy enough stay to have my opinion on metamorphosis of my city,people,country..etc
As I mentioned earlier I been out of india for say like nearly 5 years . All these while I been hearing about things back home ,IT Boom, Continental Cuisenes , Multiplexes,European cars..ufff uffff enough ohhhh we did made progress by leaps or did we.....?????

I guess I will run out of the my fingers if I start counting the big tragedies or the issues which were arising every day(Bihar Floods,Karnataka Conversions, Delhi BombBlasts) and pity that picture wasn't this bad when I left the country, and what surprises me the most is nothing stops anyone living their life (I guess not many Options there) inspite of the everything .

On one hand some of my fellow countrymen are driving foriegn cars and trying hard to inject themsleves the firangee(1st world) culture,on the otherhand few are killing themsleves on the name of religion conversions ,ghosh !!!!whats wrong here...? why so much of disparity in not only wealth but also in common social ethics..???

As every day passes by I hardly could find any quality in anything around me( don't get me wrong Iam not talking about hygeine or that sort of stuff ...Iam very well aware I belong to this soil and these are all my people and would not fault them for what they are....because that is what Iam as well). what I meant here is there is no soul be it in Television channels(News Particularly) ,Movies or way of life (of Everyone from Rickshaw puller to Software engineer, some of the might be getting easy bucks,but at what cost!!!! I reckon they are forgetting themselves once they are in to this race or game.

I read(I assume most of it) an article from old news paper ( Ironically it was a wrapper for peanuts) it was written by then L&T's MD ( cant remember his name),accusing Indian IT companies for making India technically braindead .The point in it was paying these astronomical salaries for just passed out graduates and even undergraduates, which has resulted in decrease in number of students pursuing technical disciplines other than IT, which in turn has caused skill shortage in other technical ares. The most striking observation out of that article was that " All this development we are seeing is a glossy wrapper around food which is being contaminated".

(GuysI can go on on and on...and prove my slef to be a pathetic pascimist .There is lot I want to write( Delhi Blasts,Bihar floods, Karnataka and Orissa. violence.....But this post seems to be never Ending...If there are any enhacements will post them )


There is nothing wrong, for a country to have Issues and problems and infact how a country deals with those issues will scale strength in its System .

I personally feel India is a bubble waiting to burst, Its alright to have absolute capitalist economy
for country with medium size budget so in hour of crisis its treasury can feed its people. But I doubt if India will be able to manage that, Its well and good as long as these educated youth are pushed in to this race....but once picture starts to color itself red ( i.e if things start to get bad...they will ,As 100 crore populated country is living by serving merely 32 crore once 32 crore cannot afford services or dont need services thats when ....) they will question system( which till now was priviliged ..as most were not Knowledgable and those who were couldnt be bothered) and the frustrations will burst....

Hope Iam wrong my friends...... No one wants to burn their house..but I can smell Kerosine all around mine

GOD!!! THIS IS NOT FAIR

Last Sunday was my first day at gym after Christmas break (i.e after 3 months).

Even though it was hard I managed to drag my body up to gym and was planning to go through my routine which mainly comprises of cardio, bit of weights and some stretches to knock off, my cardio usually has around 4km jog and 5km cycling.

I usually knock off my 4km jog in about 17-20 minutes, I was aware that this being my first day after 3 months it will be hard for me to accomplish that in 20 minutes so I was ready to give myself another 10 minutes. But to my shocking I started to feel shin splits after 0.5km, but I kept going trying to ignore the pain, then around 1km mark my lungs were burning bad and body has got left nothing and my T-shirt was dripping sweat all over the tread mill, then rightly though I decided to pull off as going further will be foolish and would have resulted in serious implications.

That is when I realized that my fitness levels have dropped and Iam nowhere near to what I was .Limbs shaking ,with impossible pain in shins, disappointed, remorse, I managed to get to my place.

GOD!!!! This is not fair

It took me nearly 12-15 months to lose the flab and to get to stage where I was, It wasn’t easy either . I was off sugars, alcohol , saturated fats, Non-Veg etc…Running on tread mill for 5-6 days a week like a mad dog.

Now, everything has been squandered, and in only 3 months. Scales have added 3-4 kilos to my stats, but being honest my body feels like its carrying bit more than that, and my flab ,let me know if any of you want to change your car tire.

One thing I got to confess here is , It’s just not lack of workouts that did me, During these 3 months I picked up alcohol after 2.5 years, and Non –Veg after nearly 3 years, and I guess my smoking has gone bit overboard in these 3 months.Too much of partying didn’t help the cause either.
Whatever the reasons are, its bit frustrating to lose a year and half’s work in 3 months.
I often keep wondering about relation between time and phenomenon of creation and destruction. Why does it take ages to build a structure which can be brought down in couple of seconds? Why can’t be it Vice versa? Same applies to relationships, which can merely end on a slip of tongue and Iam sure everyone agrees it takes hell lot of words and many more actions to get into relation.

So complains aside, I now realized its easy squander away hard earned things if you don’t honor them.

AFTER A WEEK, PROGRESS

OK!! Now picture isn’t that bad either!! I been to gym all week looks like Iam making good progress, took a oath to stay away from alcohol for a month. Trying to manage my smoking bit better, though quitting is not an option

What a painfull end to an exciting five days , Usual norm at the end of close encounters is to say " Well !! the better team won" , and on this sunday not even any one fom the winning side has uttered that phrase ..that for me epitomises the match

It was match full of events, bitter ones if you got blue gear on your head. And they got every right in using all the excuses,but nothing on earth would justify not playing out nine deliveries when you got 3 men to go. So after all the symapathy its right to say India squandered it away.( well...Umpires Pushed it to Draw from an Indian Win ...Indians helped by Umpires pushed it to Aussie Win)

I really do find it funny when people debate about integrity etc.... Well...let me say...every team is playing for a win these days( and Darling its 2008)... Words like Integrity,Honesty...are permitted in law books and press conferences. Iam Sure India would have done the same thing if they were going to have crack at Australia in Final Session...Rewind Back Kolkatta 2001..So for me thats not a big Issue ....and Just FYI theren't many hypocrytes who can come close to Ponting on Hypocracy scale ...He Knows all that Integrity thing is show off. and nothin like that exists in game ...

I guess Its up to Umpires, take decisions on their Instinct rather than reputation of appealing player , they should stop judging palyers...treat em all as Dishonest crooks

I some times do get the feeling that Mr .Bucknor watches ( Aussie)Player Body Language when making decisons..This theory of Bucknor bailed Aussies out from a potentially match losing situation

After MCG, Indians were badly hurt, they did show a great character in sydney to put Aussies under pressure for the most of the match ....its obvious they are hurt as their sweat is being pissed by umpires down the drain. And that does aggrevate the pain they are in

Coming to Aussie show.....Australia took their biggest gamble in reporting India's premier off spinner for Racist remarks( This is a big joke....I don't think any Cricketer can get under the skin of this Aussie team verbally). Assuming Harbajan has said what ever Symonds Claimed to have said...I don't think it would have mattered much to him...By the way where on earth is using Noun of a specie is Considered Racist....and Iam sure it wouldn't have for these thick skinned cricketers.
I guess this sole show is to attack the morale of visitors ..(who are already hurt and bleeding )and dig deep in to their wounds and aggravate bleeding ...as they say, they might bleed to death in Perth...but even if an ounce of life is left in them...beware.....they will be immune to pain then. So lets wait and watch if this gamble pays off
